The Lady Trojan volleyball teams have scheduled their 2022 season with a first game approaching on August 25, and Coach Brittany Eisenmann said she’s looking forward to the girls’ effort over the summer paying out during the season.
“The Lady Trojans have been putting in the work this summer and past week of practice,” said Eisenmann. “We have six returning letter-winners that have been leading our team. Our team has big goals set for this upcoming year, and we plan to meet each and every one of them! You can expect to see our girls hustling, communicating with each other and competing at high levels against each of our opponents.”
The Lady Trojans’ first home game will be against Plainview’s Lady Pirates on August 25, then at home against Battle Creek’s Lady Braves on August 30. During the earlier-than-normal Homecoming week of September 1-3, the Lady Trojans will play in a tournament at the Jean Groth Volleyball Classic against Wisner-Pilger/Pender.
The Lady Trojans also held their annual sports drink scrimmage on August 16th. Photos from the scrimmage can be found on page 5 of this edition of the Republican.
