Three Wakefield seniors recently signed their letters of intent to play college level sports. At a assembly at Wakefield Community Schools on Friday, March 3rd Hunter Schultz, Cade Johnson, and Alex Arenas became the latest Wakefield athletes to take their skills to post-secondary schools.
Hunter Schultz, in the picture above is seen with his father Dwight on the left and mother Trudy on the right, as well as Trojan Football head coach Mike Hassler and head coach Patrick Daberkow from Concordia University signed to play football for the Concordia University Bulldogs.
Cade Johnson, seen below with representatives of Morningside University coach Joel Haveman on the left, and coach Trent Miller on the right, as well as Trojan Basketball head coach Joe Wendte, brother and teammate Cael Johnson, mother Shannon, little brother Colt, and father Mark.
Alex Arenas, in the picture on the bottom, with her mom Tiffany and father Gonzalo, is taking her volleyball talents to the very successful Northeast Community College Hawks.
