The Plainview City Council will gather for its monthly meeting at the Plainview Public Library conference room on Tuesday, Oct. 12 for, as of Tuesday evening, a short agenda – including the possibility of hiring a full-time police officer, and one annual one-and six-year road plan.
Following the regular reports, the Council will consider a replacement for Ryan Ober on the Zoning Board, with a term to end June 30, 2024. Anyone interested should contact Mayor Brian Schlote.
A public hearing for the one- and six-year street plan will begin at 7 p.m., with the Council taking comments on the proposed projects.
There will also be discussion and possible action on the sale of city owned properties and sale of surplus city equipment.
