A new fund account for the school has been introduced by the Crofton Community School and Crofton Community Foundation.
It will accept donations to contribute towards future projects, needs, and/or other opportunities.
This account is tied through the Crofton Community School Foundation until it hits a certain amount of money.
“$25,000 is what we have to hit,” said Superintendent Chris Look. $3,000 has already been received from donations. All donations are tax deductible and are accepted any time.
Types of donations include cash, memorials, stock land, and IRA rollovers. You can set up a one time donation or recurring gift online at https://www.nebcommfound.org/give/croftoncommunity-foundation-fund/, click on “Donate To This Fund,” select “Community Schools Support Account”, and then fill in the rest of the form.
Anyone can also contact Larry Cooper at Farmers and Merchants State Bank to set this up or make a donation.
These donations will go towards projects that include the bond.
“That’s our number one concern, we need some classroom space. That would probably be the number one project,” stated Look. Other projects include a track, wrestling room, locker rooms and any other things that can enhance the district.
More details about the funding will be discussed during Crofton Community Foundation’s Annual Meeting and Dinner at the Crofton Haymarket on Thursday, March 20 at 5:30 p.m. The dinner will be free. The meeting is open to the public.
It is a great opportunity to get more information about the mentioned school account, everything the Crofton Community Foundation has been working on, a chance to ask questions, and a time to set up a donation.
